- With assistance from the Executive Director, the Secretary-Treasurer records the votes, keeps the minutes of all elections and for all meetings and proceedings of the Board of Directors and the members; serves notice of meetings of the Board of Directors and the members; and performs other duties as required by the Board of directors. [Bylaws. Article VII, Sec. 4(c)]
- The Secretary-Treasurer is the Chair of the Budget Committee and monitors expenses and administers the Association’s financial policies and procedures.
- Transmits to the incoming Secretary-Treasurer materials needed by the new officer.
- Forwards Association materials of historical value to the Executive Director, who shall from time to time deposit it at the Montana State Historical Society.
