Bruce leads a discussion about the future of libraries and the effects of
technology on libraries.
4:30-6:30 Customizing InfoTrac Presented by Jim Knight from
Gale.
Gale's west region senior support specialist will be on hand to present new
technologies and implementation strategies that will enhance the value of Gale
online resources. Bring your questions about customizing reports and the
interface.

Presented by Mark Sheehan.
Mark will discuss what makes a portal (familiar, personalized, and customized
web start pages) different from, and possibly better than, a Web page and will
talk about some of the issues, technological and otherwise, in making a portal
work.
