OFFLINE 2008 Preconferences!

Offline has two very interesting preconferences planned.

Learn the Basics of ITconfig

Martin Borg from GALE will present a 3-hour session entitled "Learn the Basics of IT Config".  This presentation will take place on Thursday February, 21 from 1:00 to 4:00.

Here is the description of the session.

With ITconfig you can:
  1. Enhance and improve patrons' searching experiences through modifying the search options and interface.
  2. Run statistical reports to do an analysis of how Gale usage has changed over time.
  3. Add your library holdings and other links that will let people know that you own a particular magazine.

Martin Borg, Large Account Management Specialist from Gale, will teach you how to take advantage of these features. Due to his experience with ITconfig, he can also answer your questions about modifying the Gale interface. This workshop is designed for people who are very comfortable with technology and who frequently provide technical support for the library.

So if you think this session sounds like the cat's meow, send an email to Sarah McHugh at samchugh@mt.gov and she will get you on the list.
