The Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Task Force, formed in 2001, works to involve MLA and its member librarians in the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial activities in Montana and across the nation and to keep them informed of new opportunities and programs related to the Bicentennial . It also works on projects to promote libraries through their involvement in the commemoration during 2003 - 2006.
